Meditations
on the Gospel of St. Matthew
-At the
beginning of the gospel of Matthew the Missionary , Jesus Christ says:
" I say
unto you , that whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in
danger of the judgment ; but whosoever say , thou fool , shall be in danger of
the judgment ".
"If
therefore you are offering your gift at the altar ,
and there remember that your
brother has something against you ;
leave your gift there before the altar , and go your way .First be reconciled
to your brother , and then come and offer your gift " .
Now , in my
opinion , my brother ; why did Jesus Christ
Emphasize dealing among brothers to such a high extent of love ,
honesty , and humanity ?
Even though
everybody in this world utters bad words and does wrong actions from time to time ,and this happened in the
time of Jesus Christ as well .
In my opinion….Because
, distance and separation among brothers Starts from such simple things which
lead to estrangement .
So , Jesus
Christ meant to stop and fill separation ,
weakness and
retreat among brothers since they are main causes that break the
unity of the " word " and cooperation .And for sure unity of "
word" and cooperation are necessary
factors to protect the message and the whole society
.
Our teacher
recommended practical love away from narrow personal interests and overcomes obstacles .
He knows that
God's hand is always with theist
cooperated
and loving groups .
