God and money Mathew " 6 -9-24"
( lay not up
for yourselves treasures upon earth .
But lay up
for your selves treasures in heaven …
No one can
serve two masters .. )
The two
masters here are God and money
Here we
should put God ( glory to him )and money, each in his own status .
This sermon
indicates that money has a great power on earth . but ,when you know how to
collect it ,where to put it and in the interest of whom you use it ,only then ,
money will never be a master ,but , a servant of the righteous person .
Money becomes
the master of his owner , controls him , directs him when there is a lifelong
pursuit of money accompanied with sacrificing many valuable things which
include social ,religious principles and even personal values .
In this way ,
you have committed a big sin against yourself. You have wasted a for cheap
goods .
The one who
seeks to raise money ,but he puts his social and religious principles first and
doesn't allow this quest to make him lose those wonderful human values ,or his
love for the savior , church and his brothers, this person is the one who seeks
heavenly treasure and makes money a servant to him and to his principles , not
the opposite .
This is what
the Christian should be .
It is to be
always the master of money ,never dedicates himself or his life to change the
house , car , …. Etc.
Materialistic
needs never end ,while life is short and has an end , so we mustn't waste it on things go away soon .
Instead we must seek things that stay
permanent even after the owner leaves , but man , by nature never feels
satisfied with money and glory .
That's why
our souls must be restricted , tamed and be persuaded with the real treasure .
